About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Operations Manager to lead our team in Dundalk. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and achieving targets while ensuring first-class service to all our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve branch sales, margin, and targets by effectively managing the branch team and implementing sales strategies.
* Ensure exceptional customer service by driving the branch team to focus on great customer service and communication while achieving sales and promotional targets.
* Manage and control branch and running costs, including stock control, cash handling, and specific customer accounts.
* Support senior management in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures, as well as communicating key aims and objectives to the team.
* Be responsible for the daily running of all aspects of the branch, including health and safety within the depot.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
* Knowledge of online and Windows-based cataloguing systems.
* Ability to lead from the front and create a team environment.
* Sales-focused with a can-do attitude.
* Ability to multitask and distinguish between urgent and important tasks.
* Knowledge of the local area and customer base is desirable.
