Job Description
The role involves the commercial management of various diverse and high-end projects, working with the Project Management team in a client-facing capacity.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for multiple bids simultaneously.
* Analysing material and labour costs; liaising with suppliers to develop strong working relationships.
* Supporting post-tender and pre-contract processes by evaluating contractual and cost implications.
* Collaborating with the team of Quantity Surveyors, including site visits to gather measurements, calculations, and relevant data.
* Ensuring timely and complete submission of all tender documentation.
* Procurement and management of sub-contractor accounts.
* Collating and administering subcontractor documents.
* Reviewing main contract documents & providing contractual advice to the project team.
* Preparing Monthly CVR/Cost Reports and final accounts.
* Value engineering & risk management control.
We are seeking a self-managed professional who is goal and deadline driven, with great technical ability to interrogate design, contractual, and technical documents.
Key qualifications include:
* Relevant third-level qualification such as Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
* Minimum of 12 months industry experience.
* Proficient IT skills.
