Fexco Managed & Advisory Services are currently looking for a Business Systems Integration Specialist to join their Platforms team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This position is based in Fexco's Killorglin office, but is also open to hybrid or remote working (note: travel to the Killorglin office from time to time is required).
The Business Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, integrating and delivering technology solutions across business systems in line with the approved Platforms roadmap.
The role applies strong systems thinking to ensure platforms, integrations, data flows and digital capabilities work together effectively to deliver operational and customer outcomes.
It bridges business needs and technical execution by owning solution design and integration definition and ensuring those designs are implemented successfully through delivery.
The Business Systems Integration Specialist independently owns multiple smaller initiatives end-to-end and provides hands-on solution and integration expertise in support of larger, more complex programmes.
The role works closely with delivery, engineering and architecture teams and engages confidently with client and senior internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Systems Integration Translate business challenges and improvement opportunities into end-to-end system and integration solutions.
Design how platforms, applications, integrations and data flows will interact to deliver required outcomes.
Produce high-quality solution design artefacts, including functional solution designs, system interaction diagrams, integration flows and delivery-ready documentation.
Ensure solution designs are coherent, scalable and aligned with platform strategy and architectural standards.
Initiative Ownership & Delivery Execution Independently own multiple small initiatives from solution definition through to implementation and handover into BAU.
Support planning, sequencing and estimation by breaking solutions into clear delivery components.
Actively manage system dependencies, integration risks and delivery impacts.
Support build, testing, acceptance and release activities to ensure outcomes align with design intent and business expectations.
Support to Larger Programmes & Platform Roadmap Provide detailed solution and integration design expertise to support larger roadmap initiatives led by the Platforms Technology Lead.
Support the Platforms Delivery Lead on complex programmes by helping clarify scope, dependencies and delivery considerations.
Ensure detailed solution designs align with strategic intent and do not fragment the platform landscape.
AI, Automation & Digital Enablement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality or customer experience through AI, automation or orchestration.
Design how AI-enabled and automated capabilities integrate into existing systems, workflows and operational processes.
Work with vendors and internal specialists to assess feasibility and define clear implementation approaches for emerging technologies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Engage confidently with client-facing stakeholders and mid- to senior-level internal leaders as a solution and systems subject-matter expert.
Communicate complex system and integration concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Prepare and deliver structured presentations to governance forums, stakeholder meetings and decision-making groups.
Build trusted working relationships across delivery, technology, operations and external partners.
Experience & Skills Required Essential Significant experience (typically 47+ years) in a systems-focused role such as Solutions Analyst, Systems Analyst, Integration Specialist or similar.
Proven experience designing and delivering solutions involving multiple integrated systems and platforms.
Strong understanding of systems integration concepts, including APIs, data flows, middleware and event-based processing.
Demonstrated experience owning initiatives end-to-end, delivering outcomes with limited supervision.
Ability to translate business problems into delivery-ready technical solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting solution options and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and delivery focus.
Experience working in structured or governed delivery environments.
Desirable Experience delivering or supporting AI-enabled, automation or orchestration solutions.
Experience within customer contact or customer-experience technology environments (e.g.
CCaa S, CRM, digital channels).
Experience working with third-party technology vendors or delivery partners.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery approaches.
