About The Company
DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 36 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a state of the art central sorting hub in Athlone, Co.
Westmeath.
Purpose Of The Role
The Telesales Executive will be working in a hybrid role, between home and our Athlone Head Office.
They will be responsible for filtering, qualifying and converting inbound sales enquiries.
They will also be expected to identify new customer opportunities for the company through outbound sales activity.
This is a team orientated role, with full training and support provided.
The Telesales executive will be working as part of a vibrant and dynamic team, in a role that presents ample scope for development and progression.
The role offers an excellent starting salary alongside the opportunity to increase earnings with sales commission.
Job Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to inbound sales inquiries.
Identify, profile and convert potential new customers and market sectors.
Engage with Depots and Regional Sales executives around potential opportunities.
Meet weekly, monthly and annual revenue targets.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential new business.
Completion of paperwork and maintenance of accurate data within the sales database.

Experience Preferred
Entry- level position with full training provided.
Previous experience with customer interaction is an advantage.
Skills Required
High level of communication skills, to include written, oral and presentation skills.
A reasonable level of technological proficiency.
