Job Purpose
Join a leading facilities services provider to manage HSEQ compliance on a major pharmaceutical client's Dublin site. You will implement a robust Safety Management System, translate corporate and legislative HSEQ policies into site-level practice, and drive continual improvement in safety and environmental performance. Pharmaceutical industry experience is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and champion safety management processes to deliver ongoing improvement
* Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective controls; ensure accidents are properly reported, investigated, and that measures are taken to minimise recurrence
* Develop and review job-specific risk assessments and method statements; ensure hazards are identified, risks documented, and controls applied
* Carry out regular site safety inspections and audits; compile reports, monitor trends, and carry out audits and training as required
* Mentor Safety Ambassadors and deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and specialist training—including chemical safety, manual handling, task-specific training, and Safety Ambassador training
* Ensure staff consultation on health and safety matters and provide professional advice to management
* Promote HSEQ initiatives, safety behavior's, and environmental best practices; support 'near hit' reporting and continuous improvement campaigns
* Read, understand, and work in accordance with company HSEQ policies, procedures, and work instructions; understand how ISO standards fit into daily operations
* Support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of our HSEQ Management Systems at site level; manage non-conformances and complaints and record centrally
* Ensure all work practices comply with Irish HSE legislation and client standards; support external audits and regulatory inspections
Requirements
* Third-level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum Cert/NEBOSH in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a health and safety role, ideally within facilities or industrial services
* Proven track record in incident investigation, risk assessment, and audit management
* Strong knowledge of Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; fluent English required
* Excellent training delivery and stakeholder-management skills
Highly Desirable
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* IOSH membership or similar professional body affiliation
* Competency with digital safety management tool

* It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours.
* As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required.
