We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Design Delivery Team by coordinating procurement activities, managing procurement documentation, and maintaining accurate records on SharePoint.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate procurement activities, including completing templates with technical or pricing information and ensuring responses are tracked and recorded appropriately.

* Manage procurement documentation, including drafting supplier award and regret letters, raising procurement requests using Oracle, and supporting the preparation of governance papers and single-source requests.

* Conduct spend analysis, coordinate contract expenditure increases, and gather specifications for tender quotations.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar position, ideally within the utilities sector. You must be comfortable using Oracle and have experience processing purchase orders. Strong coordination and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
