The role
Food and Beverage Assistant
Location: Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland. Client / Employer: Occupop.
We are excited to recruit a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our friendly Food & Beverage team. We are particularly interested in candidates who have availability to work across midweek and weekends on a part-time or full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, customer focused, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities
Process payments including cash, credit and debit transactions.
Carry out all Food & Beverage assistant duties as per the agreed standards.
Participate in training as required by Supervisor or Manager.
Be responsible for the service of the Restaurant, Bar, Cafe or Room Service where directed.
Ensure the highest levels of Customer Care are practised at all times.
Carry out the Hotel's customer relations policy.
Communicate Hotel services to guests.
Ensure cash/vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner in all Food & Beverage Outlets.
Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
Wear relevant uniform and name badge at all times.
Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health & Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises.
Any other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications & Preferences
Knowledge of drinks and cocktails preferred, but not essential.
Available to work midweek shifts & weekends when needed.
Ability to take initiative and anticipate customer needs.
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Previous Cash Handling experience an advantage.
