Airbus International Services DAC (AIS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus Helicopters, dedicated to the management of external technical assistance. Our entity provides worldwide field technical support and aircrew assistance to Airbus customers. Our employees are based in jurisdictions across the world, with the management team based in Dublin, Ireland. AIS supports around 100 global mobile employees for short and long term missions.
Place of work: IFSC, Dublin and work from home. There is a hybrid working model in place in line with Company rules.

AIS is currently recruiting for a Senior Global Payroll Specialist to support the daily management of approximately 100 employees deployed globally and the implementation of payrolls across multiple jurisdictions. The business scope will also include another Airbus entity located in Dublin.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has extensive payroll knowledge across multiple regions but also has the attitude and experience to be hands-on and still be involved in day to day payroll processing when required.
This opportunity will give exposure to all aspects of the monthly payroll cycle with emphasis on global mobility, and will suit somebody who is experienced in international personal income tax and social security. Reporting to the Head of HR, the Senior Global Payroll Specialist will have the following role and responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
International Payroll management:
* The Senior Global Payroll Specialist will actively support the business strategy in line with international payroll investigation and implementation
* Provide analysis summaries and forecasts to Management; advise on country set-up options when relevant
* Conduct analysis to understand legal requirements and processes before deploying employees in a country
* Lead and manage country set-ups in a project management mode (on time, quality, and cost)
* Liaise with stakeholders (payroll suppliers, tax experts, authorities, Airbus network) to ensure alignment and collaboration
* Support HR in answering employee queries
* Stay updated on statutory changes and advise on best practices
* Monitor policy alignment and performance; initiate corrective actions for improvement
* Ensure knowledge and data are well structured
* Participate in company policy updates
* Act as a point of contact for payroll queries from employees, contractors, and internal departments
* Execute payroll operations as required
Payroll operations:
* Prepare and process monthly payrolls and changes (starters, leavers, benefit changes, transfers)
* Review and approve payroll reports
* Provide payroll journals and reports to Finance
* Assist with audits and queries
* Manage benefit payments and reporting (pensions, taxes, social security)
* Develop and improve monthly reporting
Coordination:
* Ensure efficiency of payroll processes regarding timing, quality, and cost
* Drive process improvements, develop policies, procedures, and controls
* Liaise with payroll software providers to support business needs
The ideal candidate will have:
* Knowledge of international payroll taxes
* IPASS Management Diploma or equivalent
* Tax qualification (desirable)
* Third level qualification (desirable)
* Minimum 5 years experience in international payroll processing
* Deep knowledge of global payroll regulations and compliance
* Project management skills
* High confidentiality and discretion
* Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
* Multitasking and prioritization skills
* Leadership and communication skills
* Problem-solving skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and take ownership
* Process improvement initiative
* Strong IT skills and G-Suite proficiency
* English mandatory; French advantageous
* Right to work in Ireland
