Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the coordination and management of a residential service. This will involve ensuring a good quality of life for the people attending the service, facilitating communication and professional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support resource-management and staffing, including rosters and staff development
* Facilitate communication and professional leadership to ensure a good quality of life for the people attending the service
* Manage and coordinate the activities of the team to achieve set goals and objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
A relevant 3rd level qualification in the Social Care or Health Sector is essential. This may include a Nursing qualification and current Live Register Certificate from NMBI or a Social Care qualification registered with or eligible to register with CORU by November 2025.
An appropriate qualification in Health and Social Care Management (QQI Level 6) is also required.
Experience:
Previous experience of effectively managing a staff team and demonstrating a proven ability to pro-actively lead, motivate, empower and achieve results through people is an advantage.
A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience, working with people with an Intellectual Disability is essential.
