In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of digital shop floor and information technology solutions and own the site's digital integration programme at a modern biotech facility.
You will work closely with operations, quality, engineering, digital product teams and enterprise information technology teams to deliver secure, compliant and value-focused digital capabilities that improve reliability, throughput and decision-making.**Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:*** Be an active, inspiring member of a high-performing team, with a strong drive to learn, improve and develop.* Lead the site shop floor digital integration program: + Identify opportunities with business owners.
+ Shape and communicate business cases.
+ Provide architecture and delivery leadership from concept to go-live.* Own and manage the integration roadmap within the site digital plan, including value, risk and dependency tracking, and act as the site point of contact for manufacturing product teams.* Lead the implementation and lifecycle management of information technology solutions for the shop floor and other business areas: + Define user requirements.
+ Support system selection and deployment.
+ Oversee validation, testing and documentation, ensuring systems remain validated and technically current.* Provide ongoing support for shop floor and information technology systems, including safe system changes and investigations, in close collaboration with enterprise platform and global infrastructure teams.* Ensure technologies support data analytics; help data scientists and engineers interpret system data; and develop analytics and visualizations for key stakeholders, including site standards.* Support departments in understanding generative artificial intelligence and in developing and implementing business cases for its use.* Participate actively in site operational meetings and help foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovative digital solutions to business challenges.**What skills you will need:**In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:* Bachelor's degree (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in a relevant discipline.* At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.* Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills.* Experience with information technology system implementation and validation using a system development life cycle approach.* You are likely to have experience in several of the following: + Biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing and shop floor digital integration.
+ Business continuity, risk awareness and business value analysis.
+ Network and server infrastructure, system virtualization and automation systems.
+ Data historian, reporting and manufacturing execution systems.
+ Generative artificial intelligence concepts and use cases.
+ Collaboration and reporting tools (for example, document management and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI).
+ Continuous improvement approaches (for example, Six Sigma or similar).
+ Working with stakeholders at all levels and clearly explaining complex technical topics.
