You will be detail‑oriented and proactive to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and selecting suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts. While also ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You’ll manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels and maintain strong vendor relationships to support smooth operations. You will have excellent negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities and a commitment to achieving cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
* Place and manage purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels while considering warehouse capacity.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve purchasing and inventory issues promptly.
* Ensure accurate data entry and maintain up‑to‑date records in procurement and inventory systems.
* Support supplier evaluation and relationship management to guarantee quality and reliability.
* Address supplier discrepancies quickly to keep operations running smoothly.
* Adhere to procurement policies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Analyse procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Provide actionable insights to enhance processes and efficiency.
* Prepare clear, detailed reports on purchasing activities and costs.
* Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and supplier performance.
Requirements
* Experience in procurement industry.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with critical thinking and clear communication.
* Confidence in making informed decisions when required.
* Solid numerical ability and accuracy when working with figures, pricing and data.
* Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
