About Your New Job Lead the electrical design function, ensuring efficient and high-quality project delivery.
Communicate directly with clients, vendors, and site personnelto clarify queries and ensure project alignment.
Manage the creation and review of electrical design packages, including cable sizing, single line drawings, support distribution board design, containment routes, lighting design, load studies, etc., ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Approve electrical installationsbased on local and client regulations and standards.
Collaborate closely with engineering and commercial departmentsto align on project objectives and resolve any issues.
Handle document control, ensuring accurate and timely transmission of technical and contract documents.
Monitor project progress, update schedules, and prepare regular progress reports.
What Skills You Need A minimum of aLevel 8 Degree in Electrical Engineeringor a related field.
At least5 years of experiencein an electrical engineering role.
Competency inelectrical design software.
Proficiency in usingMicrosoft Office.
Experience in heavily regulated industries is advantageous.
An electrical trade background is advantageous.
Experience inRevitis advantageous.
