Project Manager Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our team, responsible for providing leadership and guidance to estimators. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the cost estimation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all estimates.
The ideal candidate will have relevant estimating or construction experience, excellent understanding and application of costs, markups and margins, as well as experience managing subcontractors. You will also have the ability to lead, manage, develop, and motivate teams effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the cost estimation process to ensure accuracy and completeness of all estimates.
* Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders and lead a team of estimators.
* Implement quality control procedures to ensure that all bid submissions are of the highest standard.
* Develop bid documentation, project BOQ and budgets.
* Evaluate contractor and supplier bids and deliver category awards.
Requirements:
* Relevant degree or technical qualification.
* Estimating or bid/order negotiation experience within construction.
* Excellent understanding and application of costs, markups and margins.
* Experience managing subcontractors.
* Ability to lead, manage, develop, and motivate teams effectively.
