Partnership Manager
Summary of Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our global Commercial team. The role will be based at the Ringaskiddy site in Cork, Ireland. The Partnership Manager will lead business activities to meet internal stakeholder and customer expectations throughout the product lifecycle, establishing and maintaining relationships aligned with our Sterling values. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Research and Development (R&D), Operations, current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), and HSE issues, and their impact on product development and manufacturing.
Your Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the commercial team (Business Development and Marketing) to understand customer needs and priorities, ensuring excellent service delivery and identifying new business opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (HSE & QA).
* Develop customer and product strategies in partnership with operations and the commercial team.
* Provide commercial guidance to R&D and manufacturing for process development and production.
* Advocate for customer and business interests within the organization.
* Prepare and deliver responses to customers, fostering strong relationships.
* Support sales forecasting and S&OP processes through regular updates and feedback on operational issues.
* Generate monthly reports on customer and internal metrics.
* Manage the transition of products from NPI to manufacturing.
* Ensure stakeholder and customer expectations are met by overseeing business and customer objectives, budget targets, and contractual agreements, while ensuring safety, health, and environmental standards are maintained.
All personnel are responsible for:
* Maintaining product quality and compliance with GXP standards, including reporting incidents.
* Escalating any activities that may compromise quality or independence.
* Ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation and records.
Requirements for the Role
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects, with knowledge of SPSL skills, procedures, cost conventions, resource management, and technology transfer in the pharmaceutical/fine chemical industry.
* Strong commercial judgment and customer awareness.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, with motivational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
