The Role of Technical Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical assistance to users through various mediums, including face-to-face, phone, remote access, and IT service management systems.
* Deliver first and second-line support and conduct IT orientation for new employees.
Device Management:
* Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, and RF handheld devices.
* Perform hardware replacements and software troubleshooting.
User & System Administration:
* Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes via Active Directory and Exchange Online.
* Oversight of backups using Druva and endpoint protection utilizing Windows Defender.
Network & Infrastructure Support:
* Assist with tasks such as patch updates, VLAN changes, DHCP reservations, and maintenance of physical network infrastructure.
Asset & Project Management:
* Track hardware and software assets using asset tools.
* Contribute to IT projects, including work outside regular working hours when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT helpdesk or tech support role.
* 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft operating systems, Windows technologies, etc.
* Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware and HyperV.
* Proficiency with Apple iOS devices and systems.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory services.
* Foundational experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
* Familiarity with Azure services.
