Overview
Our client is a multinational company in the medical devices and healthcare sector, based in Galway, Ireland. They are looking for a German-speaking Technical Support Associate. The successful candidate will report to the EMEA/APAC Technical Support Team Lead in a fast-paced Technical Support department.
Responsibilities
1. Handle inbound customer calls and emails professionally.
2. Provide first-level troubleshooting and resolve customer issues across the product range by asking targeted questions.
3. Document complaints and inquiries according to company guidelines.
4. Communicate investigation outcomes to customers via phone and in writing.
5. Manage and prioritize group mailboxes to ensure timely responses.
6. Resolve inquiries and complaints within KPI targets for individuals, team, and company.
7. Identify process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
8. Maintain and share product expertise within the Technical Support team.
Requirements
9. 3rd Level Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in any discipline (preferred: Science, Biomedical, Medical Transcription, Healthcare, Nursing, Engineering) – desirable, not essential.
10. Call center or administrative experience also accepted.
11. Fluent in German and English.
12. Desirable: Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical/clinical environment or a customer-facing support role, capable of handling technical complaints professionally.
