Logistics and Warehouse Manager
A high-volume, technology-driven operation is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its logistics activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate and develop teams, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* General management and overall leadership of a team of section managers, team leaders, and colleagues across all logistics activities in line with strategic KPIs.
* Ensuring Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory Managers are utilising and developing robust teams to achieve consistent long-term growth.
* Monitoring and evaluating available data to ensure optimal warehouse layout and stock integrity.
* Identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives for continuous improvements in ways of working, quality, consistency, and effectiveness of process.
* Cultivating an inclusive and collaborative culture where each team member's contribution to organisational goals is understood.
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in a relevant management role in a high-volume, technology-driven operation.
* Experience within FMCG industry is advantageous.
* Ability to examine and challenge the status quo, break down silos, and drive fact-based arguments for continuous improvement.
* Confident and consistent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit audience.
* Highly analytical and comfortable with technology, including internal data reporting tools.
* Extremely organised and able to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Ability to interpret complex data, make timely decisions based on evaluation of associated risks and impacts on stakeholders.
* Effective delegation and ability to set clear expectations, assign responsibility, and ensure accountability.
* Collaborative and confident in constructively challenging for the right result, with the ability to influence peers and senior managers.
