We have an opening for an Internal IT System Administrator – this is an exciting role in the business. Giving you the opportunity to contribute to process development and team strategy.
You will be the face of IT Support in our Park West office where you will provide support to your peers with day-to-day issues but also support the Internal IT Teams with the rollout of new tools, system migrations, and acquisition integrations.
This role will be office-based in our Dublin office in Park West Business Park, however, you may also be required to travel to our Galway and Cork offices occasionally.
Responsibilities:
* Provision of dedicated IT support to all staff. First point of contact for Nostra employees, gathering information and logging appropriately.
* You will need to troubleshoot and diagnose any potential issues across a variety of hardware and systems, escalating to a senior engineer or vendor support when appropriate.
* Deliver support on issues of varying complexity across the various sites.
* Set up and maintenance of new users within the client sites.
* Azure infrastructure knowledge, Azure networking & Entra ID experience.
* Competent at network & wireless troubleshooting, with a solid grounding in the OSI model.
* Partnering with the Internal IT Systems Manager to identify improvement projects and ensure the provision of an outstanding service.
* Assist in rolling out new applications across the business
* Understand all compliance requirements for Nostra.
* Good knowledge of security & compliance practices, with a security first mentality.
* You must be customer-focused, enthusiastic, ambitious and solution-focused.
* You should be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
* Desk side and remote desktop support for end users of varying skill levels.
* Maintain, build and contribute to documentation.
* Hardware troubleshooting and application troubleshooting and support.
* Imaging and Deployment.
* Manage File Permissions and Access Rights.
* Configuration and Support of Mobile Devices.
* Maintaining an asset management list.
Required:
* Minimum 3 Years' Experience as an IT Engineer, with proven experience within a Microsoft environment.
* IT skills & Microsoft related e.g., Office 365, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, switches, access points including VLAN's and VPN, Azure, Entra ID.
* Strong troubleshooting mentality with proven track record of independent ticket completion.
* Knowledge of Kaseya 365 Suite is a bonus.
* Excellent people, communication, customer service skills.
* Good English essential with excellent communication skills.
