As a vital part of our operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our delivery network. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of professionals who are dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and implement a culture of safety and wellbeing within your team
* Analyse and improve processes to maintain high levels of quality and productivity
* Oversee projects that drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction
* Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise best practices
A typical day for you will involve working on a shift pattern at one of our sites, focusing on process improvement and driving implementation. You will also serve as a mentor and role model for new team members.
Our operations team is responsible for handling 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of physical products to our customers.
We have two main areas of focus: under-the-roof associates who process products for dispatch, and on-the-road associates who work with Amazon Flex - a network of delivery contractors. Every year, we aim to raise the bar for customer experience by introducing new delivery services and innovative solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Degree in relevant field
* Relevant experience in people management and communication
* Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to inform business decisions
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques
* Relevant experience working with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
