We are currently seeking a highly motivated Support Worker to join our team in Cork.
Contract Type: Permanent, temporary, and relief contracts available
Contract Hours: Full-time (39 hours per week), Part-Time & Relief
Salary Scale: €32,639 – €39,499 pro-rata per annum
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum, pro-rata, and less for less than 12 months service

The role of Support Worker involves working as part of a dedicated and innovative team to provide person-centred services to children and adults with disabilities attending Enable Ireland Services.

The successful candidate will have
* QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care, Pre-Nursing, or a related field (including 8 modules, with at least one on special needs/disability studies or challenging behaviour, or a commitment to complete such a module within 6 months)
* OR Year 1 of a relevant degree in Health and Social Care (such as Social Care, Child Care, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy)
* Full Clean Manual Driving Licence and willingness to drive company vehicles
* Eligibility to work in the state
* Experience supporting people with disabilities
* Experience working with behaviours of concern
* Experience providing personal care
* Basic IT skills
