AI Delivery Lead – Initial 6 Month Contract, Cork, Hybrid
My client, a multinational organization is looking for an experienced AI Delivery Lead on an initial 6 month contract with a view for extension.
Responsibilities
Lead and enable cross-functional product teams to deliver iterative, value-driven outcomes aligned to business priorities through Agile practices.
Embed AI-enabled ways of working into delivery processes to improve speed, quality, and decision-making while ensuring responsible and secure AI use.
Utilize AI tools to enhance planning, estimation, delivery tracking, reporting, and testing to accelerate delivery and reduce manual overhead.
Partner with Product roles to support clear backlog definition and value realization, translating objectives into outcome-focused delivery plans.
Coach teams in Agile best practices and AI-assisted delivery approaches to build high-performing, self-organizing teams.
Drive adaptive planning across sprints and releases, balancing pace, quality, and sustainability of delivery.
Use data, metrics, and retrospectives to identify risks, optimize flow, improve predictability, and drive evidence-based continuous improvements.
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, using data and AI-enabled reporting to improve transparency and alignment.
Align with and act as a key enabler of Product Delivery Hub standards and practices to ensure consistent ways of working.
Qualifications
Accumulated 7+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles, such as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Scrum Master.
Obtained an Agile certification, such as Scrum, SAFe, or an equivalent credential.
Demonstrated strong Agile delivery experience (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with a proven ability to deliver complex initiatives in cross-functional environments.
Acquired a practical understanding of AI and Generative AI capabilities, with experience applying AI tools to improve delivery and team productivity.
Developed strong data literacy, including the ability to interpret and act on delivery insights to optimize flow and throughput.
Gained experience working in or alongside product-based delivery models.
Mastered delivery tooling, showing deep familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and modern delivery practices.
Cultivated an outcome- and value-driven mindset backed by strong coaching, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
