The Royal Marien Hotel is looking for a confident and polished Waiter with bartending experience to join our team. This role requires full flexibility across weekdays, weekends and late-night shifts, including function bar service during events. The ideal candidate will not only deliver exceptional customer service but also present themselves professionally - looking the part and acting with poise and warmth. Due to late-night shifts, reliable transport outside public transport hours is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality table service with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, including cocktails, wines and specialty beverages.
Take on function bar duties during weddings, corporate events and private parties.
Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming environment in both restaurant and bar areas.
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, anticipating their needs.
Handle payments accurately and responsibly.
Support team members during busy service periods and shift transitions.
Follow all health, safety and licensing regulations.
Assist with stock control, restocking and inventory checks.
Requirements
Proven experience in both waiting and bartending roles.
Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
Strong customer service skills with a warm, confident and proactive attitude.
Ability to work late-night shifts and weekends.
Must have access to reliable transport outside public transport hours.
Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
Fluent in English.
