Key to a successful supply chain is the ability to anticipate and meet customer needs. This requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who can review customer requirements, incoming orders, and historical trends to plan material demand. As a Buyer / Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization has the necessary resources to meet these demands.
Responsibilities:
* Forecast demands for products at an individual SKU level using data analysis of historical trends along with information gathered from outside sales team
* Run linear mathematical modeling programs to determine demand for blended products
* Support logistical needs for importing & exporting goods to/from suppliers
* Monitor incoming material deliveries, communicating delays to relevant departments
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to ensure all consumables are delivered on time to avoid delays in production activities, maintain accurate records in accordance with the combined management system (ISO and 45001), and support the development and training of other staff members internally where required.
Qualifications and Skills:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong analytical background, preferably holding a 3rd Level education in Statistics, Supply Chain or Engineering. Excellent planning and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel), and advanced Excel skills are also essential. Demonstrated interpersonal/teamwork and leadership skills, as well as the ability to influence people to achieve department and plant mission, vision, and objectives, are also key qualifications.
