About the Role: We are seeking a Digital Learning Designer for a 12 month contract.
This role combines creative design expertise with learning technology proficiency to develop, digital learning content, multimedia content, and innovative learning experiences across multiple platforms and delivery methods.
The role would suit a highly motivated individual who is keen to build on their experience developing digital learning content in a Professional Education environment.
The role is based in Dublin, but the successful applicant can work from home 50% of the time.
Key Responsibilities: Digital Content Creation and Design Collaborate with our internal teams and external subject matter experts to design and create engaging, high-quality, interactive learning content using a variety of applications and tools (e.g. Video editing apps, Articulate Rise and Storyline, Camtasia, Panopto and other e-learning tools).
Produce and edit high-quality video content and lead video production lifecycle from concept through post-production, including editing, animation, audio enhancement, and final delivery.
Create engaging presentations, quick reference guides and visual assets for online course delivery.
Design and develop multimedia learning content including graphics, infographics, animations, and interactive elements.
Develop branded learning materials that align with organisational standards and visual identity.
Participate in design reviews and contribute creative solutions to learning challenges.
Learning Technology Implementation and Support Evaluate and implement technological and instructional design solutions to help our Education and Professional Services teams deliver best in class eLearning content via our LMS (Blackboard Learn) and other channels.
Assist in the administration of our LMS (Blackboard Learn) and suggest solutions to optimise content delivery and user experience.
Assist and train staff in the use of applications, tools and equipment to deliver digital learning.
Create and maintain internal training resources and knowledge repositories.
Support online lecture/event delivery including setup, platform recommendations and training.
Stay current with emerging learning technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
Program and Project Support Collaborate and partner with the Education and Professional Services teams on learning projects.
Coordinate production timelines and multiple projects simultaneously.
Ensure quality control and brand consistency across all digital learning materials.
Document best practices and maintain asset libraries for team efficiency.
Other such duties relevant to the role as guided by the Senior Manager for Digital Services.
The ideal candidate will have: 1-5 years relevant experience working as a learning technologist / designer, and/or A relevant qualification (bachelors or masters degree) in digital education, instructional design or equivalent.
Strong technical skills and experience creating high quality interactive learning content using a variety of applications, tools and learning rapid development tools (e.g. Articulate, Camtasia, PowerPoint, Zoom, LMS, other video and audio editing tools).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team and with key stakeholders and contributors.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, with experience managing multiple deadlines and quick turnarounds.
Graphic design skills (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or similar) would be desirable.
