We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving sales growth across the EMEA region. As a leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan, recruiting and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and identifying new business opportunities.
About the Role
The Sales Director will assist us in expanding our presence in the EMEA market by executing our regional GTM strategy, recruiting new talent while mentoring and coaching existing account executives, and helping to land new customers and expand existing ones.
Responsibilities
1. Develop a thriving, diverse sales team who are trusted advisors to our customers.
2. Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment with a culture of coaching and feedback.
3. Win new clients and logos and expand existing customers with the support of partnership, marketing, sales engineering & business development.
4. Develop a high-performing diverse EMEA Account Executive team, including recruiting, hiring and coaching.
5. Advise and guide the EMEA Account Executive team to manage and close customer deals that create business value and ROI for our customers.
6. Creating, guiding and managing business campaigns with marketing and business development to generate new customer opportunities.
7. Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior leadership.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years experience in managing, coaching, developing and mentoring SaaS sales teams.
* Fluency in English and either German or French (or fluency in English and any two other European languages).
* Sales Leadership: Proven experience managing, coaching, developing and mentoring SaaS sales / Account Executive teams.
* Results Oriented: Proven success consistently performing against quotas and metrics.
* Better Together: Well-versed in indirect selling including partnering with channel and technology alliance partners.
* Operational Rigor: An operational lens that will ensure that planning and strategy are central to the team's success.
