This engineer will have the required engineering competencies and systems training to support a manufacturing area or project.Location: Tullagreen, Carrigtwohill.Contract: 23 Month ContractKey Areas of Responsibility:Application of a prioritized approach in Value Centered Engineering toward achieving key opportunities in quality, service, and cost.Works with Engineering leaders to deliver business objectives.Responsible for assisting in the development of a world-class manufacturing group proficient in process improvement and problem solving using Six-Sigma tools.Providing technical leadership on product and process issues.Monitoring line performance and executing structured event plans to remediate systemic issues.Developing and implementing SOPs and process work instructions compliant with GMP.Leading technical improvements under the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).Transferring and implementing processes from development or other facilities.Providing technical guidance to Process/maintenance Technicians and Engineers.Supporting new Product and process introduction, ensuring documentation per NPD process.Conducting process validation and documentation (VP, IQ, OQ, PQ).Observing Quality Management Systems requirements.Monitoring business performance metrics and proactively resolving issues.Enforcing EHS requirements on site.Managing material risks in collaboration with Supplier Quality engineers.Performing other duties as assigned.Requirements:Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Proven project management skills.2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing.Strong communication and influencing skills.Technical leadership abilities.Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work autonomously.Flexible team player.Willingness to source and implement technological advances.Decisive leadership and negotiation skills.Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies, committed to making healthcare better with innovative products across MedSurg, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics, and Spine.
