Senior Financial Accountant – Varied role including month end and project accountingLocation:Dublin CitySalary:70-80kHybrid-3 days in office, 2 days wfhAbout Your New EmployerJoin ahigh-performing global organisationknown for innovation, continuous improvement, and strong investment in technology and wider business transformation.You'll be part of a collaborative finance function that supports major projects and strategic initiatives across the business, giving you exposure to senior stakeholders and large-scale operations.About Your New JobAs theSenior Financial Accountant, your role will be a mix of technical accounting, investigation, process improvement, and business partnering.In this role, you will:Prepare reconciliations of general ledger and subledger accounts for various projects and investments.Produce spend reporting for projects and investigate variances or anomalies.Resolve issues relating to project spend, ledger discrepancies, and intercompany transactions.Prepare journal entries, account analyses, reporting schedules and supporting documentation.Review and submit intercompany recharge schedules, invoices, and journals.Support the annual budgeting process and track variances throughout the year.Assist with the month-end close process when required.Support strategic financial analysis and forward-looking business projects.Document processes, recommend improvements, and maintain internal controls.Work collaboratively with finance colleagues and cross-functional support teams.What Skills You NeedQualified Accountant ( CIMA / ACCA / ACA /CPA or equivalent) with relevant practical experience in a similar roleE xperience with Power BI, Hyperion, or similar is an advantage.What's on OfferVaried role, offering a unique mix of financial accounting, alongside project accounting and business partnering.Salary 70- 80k plus packageWhat's NextApply via the link below to Natasha at Sigmar Recruitment with an up to date CV.
