Join Oracle’s IES Data Center Network Engineering team, where you’ll maintain a highly available infrastructure that spans US and global centers for both IES and OHAI environments. Your role will cover core routing and switching, advanced fabric technologies, network automation, and lifecycle management of hardware and software, supporting the migration of Cerner and OHAI tenants to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

What You’ll Do
The IES Data Center Network Engineering team requires experienced Network Development Engineers who possess deep architectural knowledge and extensive migration experience. You will ensure site reliability, performance, and security while leading migration efforts to the next generation cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Maintain core routing and switching, advanced fabric technologies, and network automation across multiple data centers.
* Manage monitoring, security, and lifecycle operations of network hardware and software.
* Lead migration of Cerner and OHAI tenants to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring performance and reliability.
* Utilize automation tools (Python, Ansible, Chef, Docker, REST, YAML) for network configuration and management.
* Perform protocol and packet analysis, capacity management, and performance optimization.
* Document network designs, configurations, and procedures in a detailed technical style.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support network operations and engineering initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
* Extensive professional experience designing and supporting carrier‑grade, IP‑based ISP, web‑scale, and data‑center network environments.
* Expertise in virtual cloud network technologies (OCI, Azure, AWS, GCS).
* Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, iBGP, EGP, MPLS, IS‑IS, OSPF, IPSEC) and layer‑4‑7 protocols (TCP, UDP, SMB, RCP, TLS, SSL, HTTP/S, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, SSH).
* Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Chef, Docker, REST, YAML).
* Experience with Git/DevOps version control and CI/CD pipelines.
* Understanding of network life‑cycle management and documentation practices.
* Capacity management, traffic engineering, and performance optimization skills.
* Familiarity with system monitoring and KPI definition for network services.
