Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to creating rich learning experiences for children. You will work as part of a collaborative team to support children's holistic development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities.
* Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for all children.
* Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Observe, document, and assess children's learning in line with Aistear.
* Maintain compliance with Tusla, ECCE, and all relevant regulations.
* Contribute to team meetings, curriculum planning, and reflective practice.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 6/7/8 desirable).
* Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and relevant early years frameworks.
* Fluent English
* Genuine passion for working with children.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a supportive team.
* First Aid, Manual Handling, and Child Protection training (or willingness to complete).
