Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare are looking for an Afterschool Coordinator with an immediate start, based in Lusk Co.Dublin. The service opens 49 weeks a year. The service closes for the last week in July, first week in August and Christmas week.
We are offering a part time position of 25 hrs Monday – Friday, 1.15pm-6.15pm with a daily break-term time.
Non term time requires staff to work 9-6pm for all school hoildays ie. Midterms( October and February), Christmas Break, Easter break and Summer Holidays.
This role will be based within our Lusk service working with afterschool aged children from Junior Infants to Sixth class.
Salary – Competitive and based on experience
Roles & Responsibilities;
– To assist in the care of 24 max after schoolers
– To assist with school collections on foot.
– Ensure the safety, security and well being of all children in your care.
– To provide the children a hot meal (food delivered fresh and needs heated).
– To work with the team on the structure of the classroom daily routine and functionality.
– To be the deputy for the designated managerial classroom roles, such as First aid officer and all other Mandated roles and be the deputy point of contact for the school.
(The manager and owner will be on hand to support as required).
The ideal candidate will have;
– Childcare qualification (Desirable)
– Have Flexibility with your role
– A good understanding of child’s develop
– Passionate, energetic and caring
-HACCP, FAR First Aid, Manual Handling and Child protection (all desirable but not essential).
– Experience in a similar role.
