Higher Legal Executive
to join our Corporate Affairs team at the heart of a vital national service that saves lives every day.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) sits at the centre of Ireland's health system, quietly enabling care to happen every day. From emergency transfusions to planned treatments, our work ensures that hospitals nationwide have a safe, reliable supply of blood and blood products when patients need them most.
The Role
Reporting to the
Head of Corporate Affairs
, you'll play a key role in:
* Contract management & legal advisory support
* Supporting
corporate governance
, compliance & internal audit
* Advising internal stakeholders on operational & strategic matters
* Protecting and enhancing the IBTS reputation
You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary Corporate Team, including Strategy, Data Protection, and the CEO's Office.
Essential Criteria
Education
* Legal qualification
NFQ Level 6
(or related professional qualification)
Experience
* 1+ year post-qualification experience as a
Legal Executive/Paralegal
* OR
4 years in a similar role
* Knowledge of
corporate/public sector law
, contracts & procurement
* Strong drafting, research, communication & organisational skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
Desirable
* Experience in
contract law, procurement or corporate governance
* Commitment to continuous learning & development
Salary & Benefits (Public Sector Transparency)
* Clerical Officer Grade VI
: €57,325 – €70,034 (incl. LSI, pro rata)
