Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and tax filings in line with statutory and firm standards as a Senior Accountant.
- Provide high-quality accounting, compliance, and advisory services while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering clear financial insights.
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and companies, supporting broader compliance requirements and offering practical guidance.
- Support junior colleagues through coaching and feedback, contributing to efficient internal processes and consistent service delivery in line with the expectations of a Senior Accountant.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with experience operating at Senior Accountant level.
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience within a professional practice environment.
- Strong technical grounding in Irish GAAP with familiarity in FRS 102.
- Solid understanding of Irish tax compliance for both individuals and companies.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working independently to deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Surf Accounts, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
