Theys directly advise customers on product features, configurations, pricing, and availability via phone, chat, web or email. They deliver technical solutions to meet customers' needs however complex the question.
We're looking for a Technical Sales Representative to do the best work of their career and make a profound social impact on our Medium Business Team in Dublin.
Our Medium Business sales cover Mid-Market customers with annual Technology spends between €50k and €1m. MB sales engage directly with customer accounts to identify needs and position the entire Dell Technologies portfolio.
What you'll achieve
You will deliver technical solutions to the Inside Sales Team addressing customers' varying needs. This involves understanding the Dell Technologies portfolio and explaining how complex multi-faceted solutions benefit the overall business of the customer.
* You will understand and explain our portfolio to customers.
* Provide expert guidance and direction to the core Sales team by identifying, evaluating and recommending alternative technology solutions.
* Achieve targets by selling solutions and developing relationships with partners and distributors.
* Execute sales campaigns accurately and promptly.
Essential Requirements
* In-depth IT Knowledge: Understanding of IT technology products and services, including virtualization, abstraction, cloud computing.
* Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills to diagnose and address complex issues.
* Consulting and Strategic Advice: Ability to provide strategic advice and solutions tailored to client needs.
* Effective Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation to achieve favorable outcomes.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience in a technical pre-sales role.
* Bachelor's degree in business management, IT or a related discipline.
