Role:Procurement Coordinator Salary:€38,000-€43,000 Duration:Full Time Location:Galway Procurement Coordinator Dedicated in delivering projects that meet the highest standards of quality and are completed on schedule. You will play a key role in the procurement process by identifying suppliers, securing competitive quotes and preparing purchase orders. Your responsibilities include ensuring prompt delivery of goods and services, maintaining accurate documentation and supporting inventory management. Additionally, you will coordinate with vendors, monitor shipments and address any issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery to keep operations efficient and uninterrupted. Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless operations across the organisation. Source suppliers, negotiate competitive rates and terms and secure quotes to maximise financial efficiency. Manage the procurement of materials, process purchase orders using purchasing software and oversee the workflow through to payment. Coordinate with all departments to guarantee smooth communication and operational continuity. Organise and monitor the movement of materials between sites, ensuring timely and accurate transfers. Handle general purchasing administration and provide support where needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout all procurement activities. Track progress and report directly to the Procurement Manager, contributing to the overall success of the procurement function. Requirements Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in every task Solid understanding of procurement principles and purchasing practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools Demonstrated experience in managing purchasing processes and handling purchase orders Excellent organisational skills combined with effective time management Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal Ability to work independently while thriving in collaborative team environments What to do next If youre interested in this role, click apply now.
