Job Description:
* McTigue Group is seeking an experienced welder to join our team, focusing on the maintenance and repair of quarry equipment. The successful candidate will ensure all welding tasks are completed efficiently and safely to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding and fabrication on quarry machinery and equipment.
Conduct repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of heavy machinery.
Diagnose issues and implement necessary repairs promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company regulations.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime.
39 hours per week.
Requirements:
Proven experience in welding, specifically related to heavy machinery maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
