Software Product Owner – Medical Devices (Limerick)
Our leading medical device client is seeking a
Software Product Owner
to join their team, driving the development of embedded systems and application software for life-changing healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Agile Product Owner, defining product vision and prioritising backlogs.
Develop and manage software requirements, epics, and user stories.
Lead release planning, delivery expectations, and sprint execution.
Ensure integration across software modules, maintaining quality and compliance.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and customer-facing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
6+ years in software development/testing (C++/C#) and integrated systems.
5+ years' experience across full software development lifecycle.
3+ years as Product Owner or in technical program/project management.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
Proven ability to write and prioritise requirements in regulated environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certified Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO).
Experience with IEC *****, ISO *****, 21 CFR 820.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and build systems.
