Role Description
This is a
part-time
hybrid role for a
Supply Chain Officer
who will play a critical role in managing Alvion Pharmaceuticals' supply chain operations and act as a
deputy RP
(Responsible Person) ensuring all supply chain activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice).
The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for managing procurement processes, overseeing supply chain operations, and ensuring efficient communication with suppliers and internal teams. The role includes handling customer service inquiries related to supply chain issues, analysing supply chain data to optimize processes, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and procurement activities.
This position will secure the seamless flow of materials, products, and information across the supply chain, enabling efficient delivery of high-quality pharmaceuticals to our customers worldwide. This position can be operated in a remote basis.
Key Responsibilities
 * Supply Chain Management:
 * Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to distribution.
 * Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and avoid shortages or overstocking.
 * Implement effective demand forecasting and planning strategies.
 * Procurement:
 * Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of raw materials and products.
 * Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
 * Logistics Coordination:
 * Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery.
 * Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and environmental impact.
 * Regulatory Compliance:
 * Ensure all supply chain activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice).
 * Collaborate with both the quality assurance and regulatory affairs department to meet international and local compliance standards.
 * Preparation and participation in audits derived from customers and/or Regulatory authorities
 * Data Analysis & Reporting:
 * Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
 * Prepare reports on supply chain performance metrics and present them to senior management.
 * Collaboration & Communication:
 * Work closely with internal teams, including quality assurance, regulatory affairs, finance to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
 * Act as the point of contact for supply chain-related inquiries and challenges.
Qualifications
 * Education:
 * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
 * Experience:
 * Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
 * Familiarity with international markets and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
 * Skills:
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 * Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
 * Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
 * Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
 * Knowledge:
 * In-depth understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
 * Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
