The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Account Manager
with a background in
corporate communications and public affairs
to join their dynamic Dublin-based team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client accounts across a range of industries, delivering strategic communications campaigns, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders.
This role will suit someone with
agency experience
, strong client management skills, and proven expertise in public affairs and corporate communications. The Senior Account Manager will also contribute to business development, mentor junior colleagues, and support the delivery of high-quality campaigns that drive measurable impact for clients.
Responsibilities:
* Lead on the planning and delivery of integrated communications and public affairs strategies.
* Provide strategic counsel to clients on reputation management, stakeholder engagement, and policy issues.
* Monitor political, policy, and media developments relevant to client interests.
* Draft and edit a wide range of materials, including reports, briefings, press content, and stakeholder communications.
* Manage and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring delivery of high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
* Support new business activity, including participation in pitches and identifying growth opportunities.
* Organise and manage client events, stakeholder meetings, and campaigns.
* Leverage digital and social media platforms to enhance campaign impact.
Your Profile:
* 5+ years' experience
in corporate communications, public affairs, or a related field, preferably within an
agency environment
.
* Strong understanding of the Irish policy, political, and media landscape.
* Experience managing public affairs and communications campaigns.
* Proven track record in client servicing and account management.
* Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related discipline.
* Knowledge of key industry sectors (e.g. corporate, technology, infrastructure, sustainability) is an advantage.
