Finance Assistant
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Prepare and process month-end payment runs and bank reconciliations
Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and general ledger adjustments
Maintain vendor accounts and assist with UK & ROI VAT submissions
Handle staff expenses, cash flow monitoring, and bank lodgements
Manage company fleet administration including tax and insurance
Assist with financial reporting, statement preparation, and other ad hoc projects
Support the finance team with daily operations and general financial adminAbout You
Accounting Technician qualified, part-qualified, or currently studying a finance qualification
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP, Sage, and Timeware an advantage (training provided)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Confident communicator, able to work across teams and with external stakeholders
Team player with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
