Diagnostic Radiographer Job Description
The Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a comprehensive service to both inpatients and outpatients. This includes General Radiography, Theatre Imaging, Ultrasound, DEXA, MRI and CT services.
1. Participate in the general radiography service on a daily basis in assigned areas.
2. Be proactive in undertaking training that will allow for up-skilling and development within the profession.
3. Maintain high standards of patient care and radiographic techniques.
4. Educate staff about radiation protection principles (justification, optimization, ALARA and dose limits).
You should have at least 1-2 years' experience working as a diagnostic radiographer.
