Dublin (Hybrid) Partnered with Teamworx Recruitment Teamworx are delighted to partner with a well Irish lifestyle retailer to recruit an experienced Fashion Buyer for a 12-month maternity cover role.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key womenswear categories within a successful and growing retail business.
About the Role You will lead the full buying cycle—range building, sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, product development, and trading.
Reporting to a Senior Buyer, you'll deliver trend-led, commercial collections across retail and eCommerce while driving sales, margin, and stock performance.
There will be travel required to China Bi-annually.
You will also be required to do store visits with trips to the head quarters and attend shows at times.
There is potential for a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Manage global suppliers and negotiate best costs and terms.
Analyse sales and stock to drive commercial decisions.
Oversee product development, fit sessions, and approvals.
Collaborate with marketing, eCommerce, VM, and retail teams.
Support and guide junior team members.
Experience Required 5+ years' fashion buying experience (womenswear preferred).
Experience with sourcing in China is a must.
Strong understanding of trends, fabrics, and garment construction.
Proven commercial and analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation and supplier management experience.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
