Job Title: Assessment Healthcare Professional
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to join our team as an Assessment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals to determine their eligibility for disability benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct face-to-face and virtual assessments to gather information about claimants' health conditions and disabilities.
* Manage caseloads from start to finish, including delivering initial review calls and paper-based reports.
* Assess a wide range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective case management and high-quality services.
Requirements:
* A qualified nurse, mental health nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic with at least one year of post-qualification experience.
* Valid registration on the NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
* Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
