Financial Controller / Head of Finance

Our client, a well-established organisation, is appointing a Head of Finance / Senior Financial Controller to lead the finance function and support the FD and the wider leadership team in driving performance, control and sustainable growth across the business.
A brief summary of the role:
Own the Board pack: monthly MI, KPIs, commentary, and performance narrative
Present financials to senior leadership/Board and challenge assumptions with insight
Lead annual budget, rolling forecast and scenario planning
Partner with operational leaders on commercial decisions (pricing, ROI, capex, resourcing)
Support month-end and periodic reporting
Maintain strong ledger controls and oversight of core finance processes
Oversee payroll, AP, AR and key payment cycles
Coordinate audit and statutory filings with external advisers
Knowledge of system implementations and enhance processes and procedures - drive finance transformation
Lead and develop a small finance team
What we're looking for:
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
Proven experience in a hands-on finance lead role
Strong Excel/systems capability and high attention to detail
Comfortable managing stakeholders and driving process improvement
