Job Title: Legal PA
Group: Transactional Services, Corporate
Location: Dublin
Purpose of the role: Provide proactive and professional Legal PA support to the group. Services delivered consistently with the firm’s competitive environment. This role embraces teamwork, collaborating with lawyers and Business Operations to fulfil business needs, supporting staff across multiple units as required.
Candidate Overview
* Minimum 2 years PA experience
* Previous work in a law firm (advantageous)
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients
* Actively contribute to client service initiatives, attend client events and seminars where required
* Develop core sector understanding to support optimum client service
* Liaise regularly with lawyers to identify work commitments and prioritise workload
* Proactively identify responsibilities and tasks to take ownership of
* Diary management for lawyers including arranging meetings, appointments, travel bookings and equipment
* Advanced monitoring of diaries and provision of supporting paperwork
* Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements and keep lawyers updated
* Answer lawyers’ telephone calls, take accurate messages, and assist with non-legal queries
* Screen, prioritise, and respond to lawyers’ incoming e-mail, post and voicemail
* Ensure utilisation of Exigent transcription service and document production service
* Manage production of documents, coordinating changes and ensuring consistency (formatting, numbering, CompareDocs, etc.)
* Coordinate typing of audio files, drafting correspondence, and producing documents, letters and memos
