Contract: Full-time / Permanent Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package* About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Person in Charge (PIC) to lead and manage a designated centre for older people in line with HIQA Standards.
Key Responsibilities Provide strong clinical and operational leadership within the nursing home Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations, standards, and inspection requirements Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care Manage staffing, rostering, supervision, and ongoing staff development Lead on clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement Act as the main point of contact with HIQA, residents, families, and external stakeholders Essential Requirements Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Minimum 3 years' experience in nursing older persons within the last 6 years Minimum 3 years' experience in a nursing management/leadership role Relevant management qualification Knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory compliance Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Eligibility to work in Ireland (Critical Skills Employment Permit holders must meet transfer eligibility requirements) *T's
