Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving business results.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of food safety and quality is maintained across all production lines. This will involve proactively performing technical and operational duties, including maintenance and breakdowns, to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with production shift managers to achieve 100% Conformance to Plan (CTP). You will also be required to coordinate set-ups and equipment changes, as well as monitor machine operation for signs of impending problems.
This role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. You will be part of a collaborative team that values honesty, integrity, and transparency, and is committed to delivering high-quality products to customers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the engineering team to achieve business objectives
* Ensure 100% CTP is achieved through proactive technical and operational duties
* Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive business results
* Coordinate set-ups and equipment changes, and monitor machine operation for signs of impending problems
* Work closely with production shift managers to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
* 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry
* 5 years previous experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance and breakdowns
* Ability to complete planned maintenance and replace mechanical/electrical parts
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive and can-do approach
