Key Responsibilities:
The Squad Lead is the end-to-end gatekeeper of the mission, strategy, product lifecycle, and value creation for a squad.
They will collaborate closely with portfolio engineers, investment architects, and operations teams to understand their vision and challenges.
The Squad Lead will work with their squad of analysts and engineers to deliver innovative, efficient, architecturally aligned, and timely solutions that benefit clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 8+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, product ownership, product management, and/or project management
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technology or finance-related area
* Excellent communication, organization, planning, and presentation skills for the team
* Financial services industry knowledge and experience vital; investment management and/or wealth management domain knowledge a plus
* Experience working on distributed and multi-time zone teams
* Proven expertise designing, developing, and maintaining large, complex, and dynamic products and solutions
* Experience with Agile, Jira, and Jira Align, preferably from a planning perspective
* Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans for the squad or product area
* Experience deriving initiatives and workflows that can be broken down into epics and stories with well-defined business value and designs
* Track record of building highly engaged, industrious teams focused on execution, with the ability to identify, communicate, and remove impediments
* Effective at running fusions for estimating and planning large efforts, articulating project demands, assumptions, schedules, risks, and advising on product roadmap and capacity needs
* Capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues on solutions, ways of working, and tools without formal authority, often outside of direct teams and in matrixed situations
* Innovative, intellectually curious, and a great teammate who can promote an agile culture, process improvements, and tool enhancements
Value Delivery:
* Develop solutions and capabilities to enhance the Account Management product/platform vision, meeting customer requirements
* Define, refine, and communicate the roadmap, mission, and plans for assigned Squads, products, and initiatives
* Act as a constant voice of the platform's stakeholders, helping the team focus on building the best product
* Collaborate and coordinate with Chapter Leaders, Architects, Scrum Masters, and Squad members to build squad capacity and capability to achieve goals
