Key Responsibilities
* Provide real‑time front‑line support to Automation Information Systems (AIS) in accordance with GAMP standards.
* Maintain automated systems by performing preventative and corrective maintenance.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot control system software and hardware issues.
* Diagnose process issues related to the control systems.
* Identify solutions to problems.
* Work on automation system changes.
* Work closely with operational staff at all levels of the client organisation.
* Maintain system documentation.
* Augment programming code for manufacturing equipment.
* Prepare and present structured, comprehensive, detailed written reports.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences or equivalent.
* At least 3 years’ experience as a DeltaV Automation Engineer within the life sciences industries.
* Previous site experience on a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Batch automation project.
* Excellent diagnostics skills and lateral thinking.
* Strong knowledge of S‑88 Batch industry standard; onsite exposure to batch process preferred.
* Familiarity with regulated industry standards, including cGMP, GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11.
* Working knowledge of other control system platforms desirable (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Unicorn).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to work shift and in a team environment.
