Job Title: Renewable Project Engineer
Reporting to: Project Manager

Company Introduction & Vision
Omexom is a Renewable Energy Engineering Service Provider currently delivering multiple Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations & Maintenance (EPC & O&M) contracts on large-scale ground-mounted Solar PV facilities (approx. 59MWp in total), with a further portfolio currently under construction.
Omexom’s vision is to become the No.1 EPC & O&M Service Provider in the utility-scale solar industry in the Republic of Ireland. We aim to achieve this by upholding high standards of professionalism and service quality, and by building long-term partnerships with like-minded organizations.
Role Purpose
Working within the Ireland Business Unit, this role plays a key part in our organizational success—ensuring that commitments to our customers are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
The job holder will have a consistent track record of project delivery and demonstrable experience in building diverse teams while maintaining collaborative relationships internally and with clients.
Responsibilities & Duties
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Represent Omexom professionally across a range of project situations with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist with compliance in Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, policies, and legislation.
* Support programme development and resource planning.
* Coordinate activities, resources, materials, and equipment.
* Provide technical support to the engineering team with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Prepare and develop project reports as required.
* Interact with Client personnel to ensure cooperation through strong interpersonal relationships.
* Attend and engage in meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants.
* Coordinate and manage sub-contractors.
* Collaborate with the Commercial Team to manage project costs and income, ensuring targets are met.
* Travel as needed to meet business requirements.
* Perform other duties as necessary for the effective functioning of the Business Unit.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who possesses:
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to monitor and report performance against targets.
* Sound working knowledge of electrical infrastructure and relevant safety regulations (e.g. Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 - RoI).
* A proven understanding of safety and quality management.
* A strong customer focus.
* A willingness to embrace Omexom's values.
* Experience with contract terms and conditions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to meet targets and manage budgets in a commercial environment.
* Experience in efficient work planning.
* Strong people management skills.

Desirable Skills & Competencies
* Degree-level education (preferably in engineering, business, or project management).
