Job Title: Senior Social Care Worker The primary objective of this role is to provide care and support through a person-centred approach, meeting the practical, physical and emotional needs of service users with an Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism.
The successful candidate will assist individuals with disabilities in residential, training and day service activities to achieve their highest level of functioning, maintain independence or improve skills for increased autonomy.
The Social Care Worker will be part of the on-floor duty team and responsible for coordinating shifts while on duty as well as supervising other staff under their direction.
They will collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) in delivering services to residents.
Direct reporting lines are in place to the Person In-Charge.
In their absence, the Senior Social Care Worker may need to deputise for the Person In-Charge and assume management responsibilities accordingly.
